Today we present to you the way to make Mombar from the Egyptian kitchen, and it is one of the delicious cooking recipes presented on special occasions and occasions and will be admired
by everybody.
Ingredients to make Mombar :
- 1-kilo mombar
- ¾ kilo of rice
- ¼ kilo of minced meat
- 5 tablespoons of chopped dill
- 5 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- 5 tablespoons of chopped green coriander
- 1 large onion, chopped
- ½ kilo tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon seasoning
- Cup ghee or oil for frying
- 4 tablespoons of flour
- 2 teaspoons mint
How to make Mombar :
1- Wash the mombar well and clean its interior by turning it either by hand or by using the water tap to be placed at the end of the faucet where the water rushes
Easy to heart easily.
2- Wash it with soap and water well, then put it in a colander, add an amount of salt and leave it for about half an hour.
3- Wash it again with flour and salt and rub it well, rinse it repeatedly, then turn it over again and repeat the cleaning process until it is completely clean
Then wash it with cold water.
To prepare the mixture for filling:
1- Bring a bowl and put the chopped onions, salt, and pepper, and chop the tomatoes into small pieces.
2- Purify the rice and wash it, then add it to the previous mixture, then add the ground meat, dill, parsley, coriander and mint and season the mixture with salt,
Pepper and pepper.
3- Fill the mombar with the previous mixture to two thirds, then tie the two sides to distribute the mixture inside it and to press lightly where it is
Loose it not fully, then tie it evenly apart as desired.
4- Bring a saucepan and put an appropriate amount of water until it boils, then boil the mombar until it is done.
5- Drain it from the boiling water, then fry it in ghee and serve hot on the parsley.
