  • ½ Packet Shishito Peppers (about 4 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 oz goat cheese, lightly melted
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional)


How to make shishito pepper stuffed with goat cheese:


1. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over high heat. Fry the Shishito pepper for 5 minutes, or until the holes begin to open in it, then remove from heat.

2- Place the pepper on a cutting board, cut the heads off, and gently chop to make an incision on one side. Fill peppers with about a teaspoon of goat cheese.

3- Place the pepper in a roasting pan and roast for two minutes, or until it begins to turn golden.

4- Take the pepper off the stove, then put it on a plate or bowl. Sprinkle over the soy sauce and sesame seeds, to your liking.
