Boiled eggs are eggs (often chicken eggs) that have been cooked without breaking the outer shell by placing them in boiling water. 

Completely boiled eggs are those that have been cooked until the consistency of both their whites and scales becomes firm and solid. As for semi-boiled eggs or borscht eggs, the consistency of their yolk remains liquid and its whiteness maintains some viscosity.
