  • 10 ounces of biscuits (about 16 slices or ½ 2 cups crumbs)
  • 5 tablespoons soft unsalted butter
  • 1 jar (13 ounces) easy-to-spread Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread, at room temperature
  • Cup chopped toasted rusk
  • 1 pound cream cheese, at room temperature
  • Cup powdered sugar, sifted


How to make hazelnut chocolate cheesecake:


  1. Crack the biscuits into a food processor bowl, then add the butter and 1 tablespoon of Nutella and mix them on high speed until the mixture starts to clump. Add 3 tablespoons of the toasted hazelnuts, and continue to whisk until you have a mixture that is as moist as sand.
  2. Pour the mixture into a cheesecake pan and press it onto the bottom, using either your hands or the back of a spoon. Put the mold in the refrigerator until the filling is prepared.
  3. Mix the powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth, then scrape the rest of the Nutella from the jar and add it to the cream cheese mixture and continue whisking until the mixture is homogeneous.
  4. Take out the cheesecake pan from the fridge. Gently scrape the Nutella mixture from the bowl and spread it over the base of the crumbs and spread the remaining chopped hazelnuts on top so that it covers the face. Place the pan in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
